I don't necessarily mind the irridescent quality to it, but the paper is a bit textured and makes the photos look strange (whereas an asuka book has a nice even surface on their paper). I ordered pearl paper, since I had heard that the textured linen paper wasn't all that great (and apparently I missed the option to order text paper). $30 definitely wasn't a bad price for a book, but I have to say that the quality leaves much to be desired.
